A colorful rally and discussion meeting was held in Naogaon on the occasion of World Health Day with the theme of “Science in Health Care, Protecting All Lives” . The program was organized by the Civil Surgeon’s Office on Tuesday (April 7) morning.
A rally started from the Naogaon Civil Surgeon’s Office premises at 9 am and circled the main road of the city. Later, a discussion meeting was held in the meeting room of the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
The program was presided over by District Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Aminul Islam.
The meeting was attended as special guests by Naogaon Medical College Principal Dr. Muktar Hossain, District Deputy Civil Surgeon Munir Ali Akand and Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Musfiqur Rahman, along with various officials of the Health Department and representatives of health and nutrition NGOs.
At the discussion meeting, speakers emphasized collective efforts to improve public health and called for strengthening the scientific approach to healthcare.
