A preparatory meeting was held in Naogaon on the occasion of the celebration of Bengali New Year 1433. The meeting was organized by the district administration at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Tuesday at 12:30 pm. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Sadia Afrin presided over the meeting. Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Shah Md. Rashed conducted the meeting.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Md. Masudul Haque, District Education Officer Shahadat Hossain, Deputy Civil Surgeon Munir Ali Akand and officials of the concerned department were present at the time.
It was informed in the meeting that a colorful rally in Bengali traditional costumes, a children’s painting competition and cultural programs will be organized in the morning to celebrate the Bengali New Year. Various directions were given in the meeting for the successful implementation of these programs.
