Two more children have died of measles symptoms at Rajshahi Medical College (RMC) Hospital in the last 24 hours. The hospital’s media spokesperson and emergency medical officer Dr. Shankar K Biswas confirmed this information to the media at around 11 am on Monday (April 6).
Currently, a total of 138 children are being treated at the hospital with measles symptoms. With the deaths of two new children, a total of 42 people have died in the hospital with this particular symptom so far, the hospital authorities said. Between 9 am on Sunday and 9 am on Monday, 20 more children were admitted to the hospital, which is slightly more than the previous days.
