The workshop was presided over by Md. Selim Ahmed, Director of Deposit Insurance Department. In his speech, he highlighted the need for accurate and complete information/data to protect the interests of depositors in the banking sector of Bangladesh. The main session of the workshop was conducted by Additional Director Noor-e-Asma Nadia, Joint Director Amina Akhter and Joint Director Most. Tania Sultana. While conducting the workshop, they analyzed and discussed in detail the details of the “Deposit Protection Ordinance, 2025 and the preparation of information related to deposit insurance.” Officials from banks participated in the question and answer session of the program. The Chairman thanked everyone for their spontaneous participation in the workshop and declared the workshop closed.
