Nazrul Islam, Dean of Basic Science and Paraclinical Faculty and Chairman of the Laboratory Service Management Committee, Professor Dr. Saif Ullah-Munshi, Dean of Dental Faculty, Professor Dr. Sakhawat Hossain Sayantha, and others were present in the meeting. The meeting discussed various issues including the establishment of the Core Accreditation Committee, nomination of focal persons for all departments, completion and submission of department-based gap analysis, preparation of departmental laboratory management structure, necessary training, drafting of integrated accreditation roadmap, and presentation of department-based progress reports. The meeting was attended by the chairperson of the relevant committee, Professor Dr. Nasreen Chowdhury of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, member of the relevant committee, Professor Dr. Shabnam Akhtar of the Department of Pathology, member of the Microbiology Department, Associate Professor Dr. Shaheda Anwar of the Department of Laboratory Medicine, member of the Hematology Department, Associate Professor Dr. Nasreen Jahan of the Department of Laboratory Medicine, member of the Hematology Department, Associate Professor Dr. Farzana Rahman of the Department of Hematology, member of the Secretary, Assistant Professor Dr. Tahmina Akhter of the Department of Virology, and others.
