The meeting was presided over by Ashraful Alam Khan, General Manager of Thakurgaon Rural Electricity Association. Among others, Imran Kabir, Assistant Commissioner of Land Acquisition Branch, Thakurgaon, Engineer Lutful Hasan Sarkar, Deputy General Manager of Thakurgaon Rural Electricity Association, and Mofuzul Islam, Assistant Director of Lakshmi Preserves Private Limited, were present at the meeting.
At that time, Mofizul Islam said, “With the establishment of this 322 kilowatt solar power station, we will be able to meet our own electricity needs, and the 322 kilowatts of electricity we generate during the off-season will be added to the national grid.”
It is worth noting that Lakshmi Preserves Private Limited, with the technical and overall support of Thakurgaon Palli Bidyut Samity, has installed this 322 kilowatt solar panel with its own funds, at a cost of 1.25 crore taka.
