A rally was held at Bonani Bogura on Tuesday in protest against attempts to destabilise the country through planned violence and anarchy. Rally and procession were organised by Ward-13 of Bogura Metropolitan BNP.

Addressing rally as the chief guest, Bogura District BNP President, Ministry of Housing and Public Works Parliamentary Standing Committee President Md Rezaul Karim Badsha MP said the country was witnessing visible changes in overall development since BNP formed the government.

He said improvements had been made in law and order, infrastructure development and public safety. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman was working to improve the living standards of people. An organised group is engaged in planned violence, anarchy and attempts to destabilise the country. People will unite and build resistance against anti-state forces.

Bogura City Corporation Administrator and Bogura District BNP Vice-President M R Islam Shadhin was the chief speaker at rally. Metropolitan BNP President Advocate Hamidul Haque Chowdhury Hiru and General Secretary Moniruzzaman Moni attended the programme as special guests. Former District BNP General Secretary Zainal Abedin Chan, Metropolitan BNP Vice-President Mashiur Rahman Shamim, Organising Secretary Solaiman Ali, General Secretary Mahmudul Hasan Tuhin, and City Swechhasebak Dal General Secretary Hossain Ali were also present. Ward-13 BNP President Sayedul Islam Sayed presided over the programme, while Ward BNP General Secretary Md Shafiqul Islam Shafik moderated the event.
