In this regard, Gobindaganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Muhammad Mozammel Haque said that the man was beaten up on charges of stealing a mobile phone. Police received information and rescued him and arranged for medical treatment. However, those who beat him up have left the scene.
