He said these things while speaking as chief guest at closing ceremony of workshop for journalists the Bogura Circuit House Conference Room on Thursday. Deputy Commissioner (Dc) Md. Taufiqur Rahman presided over the meeting.
Press Council organized a workshop on the responsibilities and duties of journalists in presenting objective news, including preventing propaganda and mis-journalism in media. Certificates were distributed among 40 journalists of Bogura.
Press Council Secretary (Joint Secretary) Md. Abdus Sabur, Bogura Superintendent of Police (Sp) Mirza Sayem Mahmud PPM were special guests. Mis-journalism, ethics and legal issues were discussed the workshop. In addition to increasing objective news, professional unity and mutual cooperation, the concerned gave important suggestions including problems, possibilities and professional development.
