The case report reveals that the victim is a 10th grade student of Barabari Boyez Uddin High School under Tajhat police station in Rangpur district. She is 14 years old. The victim, Rajuk Islam Mim (21), had been harassing the victim by proposing love to her on various occasions while she was going to and from school. The victim did not agree to the proposal and informed her family about the harassment and bad proposals. When the victim’s family informed the family of the arrested accused about the matter, the arrested accused became even more angry and threatened her with various threats and kidnapping.

In this situation, on September 16, 2026, at 11:30 am, while the victim was on her way from her home to her maternal grandmother’s house, as soon as she reached Darshana intersection under Tajhat police station, the accused named in the complaint, who were waiting for her from the east, and with the help of 4/5 other unknown accused, forcibly took the victim to an unknown place in a white microbus, tempting her to marry him.

In this incident, on September 21, 2026, the victim’s father Rashedul Islam (50) filed a kidnapping case with Rangpur Metropolitan Tajhat Police Station (Case No. 13). After filing the case, the accused went into hiding to avoid arrest.

In continuation of this, based on specific information and secret information, a smart operation team of SRB-13, Sadar Company, Rangpur conducted a raid on the residence of a certain Almas Doctor in Barabil Adarshpara village under Gangachara police station of Rangpur district at 07.00 am on 21 September 2026 and arrested 05 absconding accused including the main accused in the kidnapping case of Rangpur Metropolitan Tajhat Police Station 1. Rajuk Islam Mim (21), father-Md. Rabiul Islam, 2. Rabiul Islam (55), father-deceased Abu Bakar Siddique, 3. Moyna Begum alias Ruby (45), husband- Rabiur Islam, 4. Roz Islam (16), father- Rabiul Islam, Sarb Sang-Uttam Baniapara, Thana-Hazirhat, RPMP, Rangpur and 5) Irin Akhter (56), husband-Manjur Rashid, Sang-Madhyaganeshpur, Ward No. 22, Thana-Tajhat, RPMP, were arrested and the victim was rescued.

The victim and the accused have been handed over to the relevant police station for further legal action.
