The 4th International Conference of Bangladesh Endodontic Society was held at the Shaheed Abu Sayeed Convention Center of Bangladesh Medical University (BMU). Yesterday, Saturday, September 27, 2025, the closing ceremony of the conference was attended by the Chief Guest, Special Assistant to the Honorable Chief Advisor and State Minister in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Professor Dr. Md. Sayedur Rahman. The program was presided over by the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research and Development) of BMU and President of Bangladesh Endodontic Society, Professor Dr. Md. Mujibur Rahman Howlader. The conference was addressed as special guests by the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) of BMU, Professor Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Treasurer Professor Dr. Nahrin Akhtar, Director General of the Directorate of Health, Professor Dr. Md. Abu Zafar, Director General of the Directorate of Health Education, Professor Dr. Nazmul Hossain, President of Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) Professor Dr. Harun Al Rashid, Secretary General of DAB Dr. Md. Zahirul Islam Shakil, Foreign Faculty Professor Dr. Samuel O. Dron, Proctor of BMU Dr. Sheikh Farhad, President of Dental Society Dr. Parimal Chandra Mallick, Secretary General of Dental Society Dr. AKM Kabir Ahmed Riaz, Additional Director of BMU Super Specialized Hospital Dr. Shahidul Hasan Babul, etc. The conference was attended by leaders of Bangladesh Endodontic Society, dentists and physicians of the country, as well as faculties from different countries including America and Korea. The speakers at the conference said that such a conference will be helpful in exchanging knowledge and experiences, which will play a great role in improving dental services, medical education and research in the country.
