Awami League leader Main Uddin Ahmed arrested in Purbadhala
Police have arrested Main Uddin Ahmed, a member of the Purbadhala Upazila branch of Netrokona Awami League. Purbadhala Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the matter on Monday (August 24) afternoon. According to local sources, Main Uddin Ahmed was arrested from Hogla Dayal Bazar area of Purbadhala, Netrokona on Monday morning. When asked about this, relatives said that Main Uddin Ahmed was arrested without a case due to the political change in the country. When asked about this, relatives said that Main Uddin Ahmed was arrested without a case due to the political change in the country.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun said – Awami League leader Main Uddin Ahmed (55), a resident of Gopinathkhila village in Hogla union of Purbadhola upazila of Netrokona district, was arrested at 10 am on Monday. He has been sent to the learned court as a suspected accused under Section 15(3) of the Special Powers Act filed at Purbadhola police station on June 13.
