He said that on August 15, 2025, at 2 pm, the MV Bagerhat-2 launch, which left Patuakhali for Dhaka, was delayed in reaching Dhaka on time due to tides and other reasons, and the passengers misbehaved with the launch staff and vandalized it. The launch authority informed the Coast Guard by calling the Coast Guard emergency service number 16111. Based on the information received, a security team from Coast Guard Station Pagla went to the launch in a high-speed boat.

Later, Coast Guard members helped the passengers leave the launch peacefully by mediating between the launch staff and the passengers.

He also said that Bangladesh Coast Guard will continue such operations in the future to maintain the law and order situation in the country.
