Addressing the gathering, the speakers said drug abuse poses a serious threat to society, particularly to the younger generation. They urged all sections of society, including law enforcement agencies, educational institutions, parents, community leaders and citizens, to work together in preventing drug abuse and promoting awareness.
They also highlighted the importance of community participation and coordinated initiatives to build a safer and drug-free society.
The meeting was attended by local dignitaries, government officials, representatives of social and cultural organisations, journalists and residents from different areas of Gazipur.
