The committee was announced at a general meeting of the organization held at a restaurant in the Muktir More area of ​​the city on Monday (July 6) at 8 pm. The meeting was presided over by the organization’s former president, Raihan Alam.

The previous convening committee was declared dissolved by unanimous decision of the members present at the meeting. Later, a new committee was formed in accordance with the organization’s constitution.

The new committee elected Bijoy Television’s Naogaon district representative Mofazzal Hossain as president and Bangla TV’s Naogaon district representative Ashraful Nayan as general secretary. Also elected as vice presidents are Asian Television’s staff reporter Uttal Mahmud, Ananda TV’s district representative Saheb Ali as joint secretary, Nagorik Television’s district representative Sumon Ali as finance secretary, Channel S Television’s senior district representative Mehedi Hasan (Antar) as publicity and publication secretary, Asian Television’s district representative Lokman Ali as office secretary, Channel S Television’s district representative Sohel Rana as activities and festivals secretary, ATN Bangla’s district representative Raihan Alam as executive members, Independent TV’s staff reporter Sadequl Islam, MyTV’s district representative Abu Bakkar Siddique as executive member, Banglavision Television’s district representative Belayet Hossain as well as Desh TV’s district representative Kazi Kamal Hossain.

The members present at the meeting expressed hope that the newly formed committee will play an important role in the professional development of television journalists in Naogaon district, protecting their rights, and further energizing the organization’s activities.
