National Rural Development Day celebrated in Paikgachha
National Rural Development Day was celebrated with due dignity in Paikgachha, Khulna through a rally, discussion meeting and tree plantation program. On Monday morning, a colorful rally was organized by the Upazila Administration and Upazila Rural Development Board from the Upazila Parishad premises. The rally circled the main roads of the upazila and ended at the Upazila Parishad premises. Later, a discussion meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Wasiuzzaman Chowdhury. On Monday morning, a colorful rally was organized by the Upazila Administration and Upazila Rural Development Board from the Upazila Parishad premises. The rally circled the main roads of the upazila and ended at the Upazila Parishad premises.

Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Ekramul Hossain, Upazila Fisheries Officer Saikat Mallick, Upazila Engineer Shoaib Shafin, Upazila Cooperative Officer Humayun Kabir and Central Association Chairman Pran Krishna Roy spoke at the discussion meeting.
At the end of the ceremony, Upazila Executive Officer Wasiuzzaman Chowdhury distributed saplings of different species among the cooperatives. Officials of various departments, cooperatives and dignitaries were present at the event.
