BNP’s free eye camp in Paikgachha; Over 500 people availed services

‎A day-long free eye treatment camp was organized by the Upazila BNP in Paikgachha, Khulna. Over 500 general patients from different parts of the upazila were provided with eye treatment, necessary advice and medicines. This humanitarian program was formally inaugurated on Thursday (July 2) at 10 am in the premises of Paikgachha Government High School. Upazila BNP Member Secretary SM Imdadul Haque, former General Secretary Alhaj Advocate Abu Sayeed, Joint Conveners Abul Hossain, Sajjad Ahmed Manik, Tushar Kanti Mandal, Mirajul Islam Miraj and Benazir Ahmed Lal. Krishak Dal President Mesher Ali Sana, Upazila Jubo Dal Member Secretary Imran Sardar, Sheikh Ruhul Quddus, Municipality Jubo Dal Convener GM Rustom, Member Secretary Anarul Islam, Huraira Badsha, Sattar Morol and Abu Musa Sardar. A special medical team of experienced doctors and health workers from Khulna BNSB Eye Hospital provided eye examination and medical services to the patients in this day-long camp. Along with eye examination, necessary medicines were also provided to the patients free of cost. This camp is organized with the aim of providing healthcare services at the doorsteps of the grassroots and common people. Such humanitarian and social initiatives will continue in the future for the welfare of the people.
