BRAC initiates treatment of over 300 eye patients in Narsingdi

BRAC initiated a day-long free eye treatment campaign in Shibpur, Narsingdi on Monday, June 8. Organized at BRAC's Shibpur Dhanua office, more than 300 local eye patients were provided with free eye exams, necessary medicines and glasses. The campaign activities were officially launched at 10 am. BRAC's Senior Program Manager Sheikh Mujam, Senior Regional Manager Abdul Jabbar, District Coordinator Mizanur Rahman, Area Manager Md. Shibpura Branch Manager Md. Russel Akand said that a medical team led by Dhaka Islamia Eye Hospital specialist Dr. Loknath Acharya is working on this campaign.  More than three hundred local eye patients have received treatment from this campaign.
