The election atmosphere has begun in Sinha Bangla Union No. 4 of Netrokona Sadar Upazila with the upcoming Union Parishad elections. The entire union has already become busy with mass outreach, yard meetings and campaigning of potential candidates. In continuation of this, a prominent social worker has officially announced his candidacy for the post of chairman.

Mukhlesur Rahman Khan Khasru is a well-known political and business personality of Netrokona. He is currently serving as the General Secretary of Netrokona Inter-District Road Transport (Bus) Owners Association and Senior Joint General Secretary of Sadar Upazila BNP. He is also the former Co-Organizing Secretary of District BNP and Chairman of Netrokona Central Cooperative Bank Limited.

Local sources said that Khasru has built a strong position in the area due to his long-standing support for the common people, active participation in social activities, and political experience. There has been widespread enthusiasm among the general voters regarding his announcement of his candidacy for the post of chairman.
Many voters believe that if elected, the Bengali Union of No. 4 Singha, under the leadership of Mukhlesur Rahman Khan Khasru, will be able to set a new example of development and good governance.
