Makhon Das, a former student of the school, has been appointed as the president of the ad hoc committee of Narsingdi Pilot High School, a renowned educational institution in Narsingdi.
He was recently given this responsibility as per the regulations regarding the formation of the managing committee of private secondary schools. He is also serving as the president of the Narsingdi Press Club.
According to school sources, Narsingdi Pilot High School applied to the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Dhaka, on May 14, 2026, for approval to form an ad hoc committee.
In view of this, as per Section 64 (1) of the Regulation S.R.O. No.-73-Act/2024 on the Formation of Managing Committees of Private Secondary Schools, the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Dhaka, approved a 4-member ad hoc committee at Narsingdi Pilot High School on May 21, 2026.
The names of Makhon Das as the president, general teacher member Md. Raju Ahmed, parent member Asaduzzaman Monir and ex-officio member secretary of the school, Ranjit Kumar Debnath, the headmaster of the school, were approved.
Expressing his feelings on receiving the responsibility of the president of the school, Makhon Das said, “This institution is not just a school, it is associated with my emotions, love, memories and roots. As an alumnus of this school, I am proud. I am grateful to have been given the responsibility of president.”
He further said that importance will be given to improving the quality of school education, ensuring a modern and education-friendly environment, expanding co-educational programs, introducing a technology-based education system, developing moral and human values ​​in students, shaping the future of students and developing infrastructure.
