The victim has filed a written complaint with the police station in this incident.According to the complaint, Mosha Banu Begum (33) of Baktarpur area of ​​the upazila got married to Md. It has also been mentioned that she was regularly subjected to physical and mental torture for not paying the demanded amount.According to the victim, on May 10, around 9:30 am, when she went to call her husband at a land near his house, he again pressured her for dowry. When she refused, her husband abused her in obscene language and at one point beat her indiscriminately with a bamboo stick. This resulted in serious injuries to her hands and feet.Hearing his screams, people nearby came forward and rescued him. Later, his family members admitted him to Naogaon Sadar Hospital, where he received treatment.The complaint further states that the accused is threatening to kill her and is intimidating her by saying that he is living with his ex-wife, causing her to suffer from insecurity.The victim filed a complaint with the officer-in-charge of Naogaon Sadar Model Police Station in this regard and requested that necessary legal action be taken against the accused.In this regard, the police station’s officer-in-charge OC Mohammad Asaduzzaman said that the complaint has been received and the incident will be investigated and necessary action will be taken.
