Many drivers are standing in line before 8 am. Many are not getting the desired amount of fuel even after waiting for hours in the hope of fuel. It can be seen on the spot that a long queue of motorcycles has formed on the road around the pump, which is also causing disruption to traffic. When talking to the motorcycle drivers standing in line, they said that even after waiting for a long time, they are being given a limited amount of fuel. Many complain that only 300 taka of petrol is being given to each motorcycle, which is not enough to meet their daily needs. One of the aggrieved drivers said, I have been standing in line since 8 am. It has been almost three hours now, but I have not received any fuel yet. I have to stop all my work and stand here. Another said, what will happen with only 300 taka of fuel? It is not possible to drive properly for even a day. Meanwhile, locals believe that such a situation has arisen due to the sudden shortage of fuel. Some say that the pump authorities are forced to give a limited amount of fuel due to the decrease in supply. Many are also complaining that poor management and lack of adequate preparation could also be a reason for this crisis. Not only motorcyclists, but also drivers of other vehicles are suffering due to the long queues for fuel. Many are being forced to return home without being able to enter the pump. This has put people who have gone out for urgent work in trouble. Local businessmen and pedestrians have also expressed their dissatisfaction with the situation. They say that such long queues are causing traffic jams on the road, which is disrupting normal movement in the area. They fear that the impact may spread further if the situation does not normalize soon. Attempts were made to contact the pump authorities in this regard, but they did not immediately respond. However, according to those concerned, the situation may improve if the fuel supply is normalized.
The victims have demanded that necessary measures be taken immediately to alleviate the suffering of the common people. They hope that the authorities will consider the matter seriously and resolve it quickly, so that people can carry out their daily activities normally.
