Shop owner arrested with weapons and bullets in Jessore

DB police have arrested a young man named Ali Hossain (32) from Sandhani Super Market in Jessore town with a foreign pistol, magazine and bullets. He was arrested after conducting a raid at a mobile servicing center named ‘Tonvi Electronics’ in the market at around 2:30 pm on Monday (April 6).
Arrested Ali Hossain is the owner of the shop and is the son of Abu Musa of Kota village in Kalaroa upazila of Satkhira. DB police said that the raid was conducted under the leadership of SI Alok Kumar based on a secret information. After searching the shop and recovering a pistol and a round of bullets, Ali Hossain was taken to the DB office.
Jessore DB police OC (Investigation) Sujan Kumar Mandal confirmed the truth of the incident and said that a case is underway against the arrested youth for possessing illegal weapons.
