A child dies of measles in Sylhet

For the first time in Sylhet, a child has died of measles. It is learned that a four-month-old baby with measles symptoms has died at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital. The deceased child, Farhan, died of bronchopneumonia or lung infection and suffered from cardiac arrest. Confirming the matter, Deputy Director of the hospital, Dr. Mahbubur Rahman said, "The child died at around 1 pm on Monday with symptoms of measles. It will be confirmed whether it is measles or not after the lab test report comes."
