The Eid congregation of the holy Eid ul Fitr 2026 will be held at 8 am on the Eid day at the premises of the Central Jame Mosque of Bangladesh Medical University. This information was given by the Presiding Imam of the Central Jame Mosque of Bangladesh Medical University, Mr. Hafez Maulana Abdul Ahad. Meanwhile, on the day of Eid, arrangements have been made to serve high-quality food to patients under the instructions of Honorable Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Mujibur Rahman Howlader. And the Eid reunion after the holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be held on March 24 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, and the university offices will be open as usual on this day (March 24, 2026). Meanwhile, for the convenience of patients during the holy Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, the outpatient department of Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) will be open on Thursday, March 19 and Sunday, March 22. On those two days, patients will be able to seek medical advice from the outpatient department from 10 am to 1 pm. For this, the university administration has already asked the Director (Hospital) to take necessary measures. This information was given in a notification signed by the university’s Registrar, Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam. The outpatient department will be closed from March 17 to 23 except March 19 and March 22. During the closure days, the hospital’s indoor and emergency departments will remain open as usual. However, classes, offices, evening specialized consultation service, super specialized hospital consultation service, PCR lab will remain closed. After the Eid closure, the usual business hours will be open on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, and the Eid Reunion 2026 after the holy Eid ul Fitr will be held on the same day between 8:30 am and 10:30 am.
