Aktaruzzaman, Deputy Registrar Sabina Yasmin, Deputy Controller of Examinations Md. Humayun Kabir, Deputy Registrar Md. Anis Ur Rahman, Deputy Registrar Md. The prayer mahfil was conducted by Pesh Imam and Khatib Hafez Maulana Mufti Abdul Ahad, Pesh Imam and Khatib of BMU Central Jame Mosque. The prayer meeting prayed for the eternal peace of the souls of the great proclaimer of independence, martyred President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. The hope was expressed that the programs undertaken by the current government would be successful and a developed and prosperous Bangladesh would be built by strengthening the hands of the Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman, along with wishing him good health. President of Central DAB, Professor Dr. Harun Al Rashid said, “In the changed times after August 5, the deprivation of all the officials and employees who were deprived for 17 years has been resolved to a large extent, many of them have been promoted. Currently, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) government is in power. Democracy has been established in the country. Now is the time to take the country forward. However, we must be careful of the beneficiaries of the past.”Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr. Md. Mujibur Rahman Howlader said, “We must recognize and understand good and bad. By standing on the side of justice and forgetting differences, BMU must be established in a prestigious position in the world in medical education, service and research.” Other speakers said, BMU must be de-mystified. We must work to implement all the programs that the current BNP government has taken in the health sector. We must properly fulfill our respective responsibilities and maintain peace and order.
